The Best Roof Tent Campsites In The UK
Rooftop Tent Camping
Roof tent camping is the perfect way to hit pause on everyday life and reconnect with nature — and the people you choose to share it with. There’s something genuinely magical about going on a road trip, watching the sunset, then sitting under a sky full of stars, swapping stories around the campfire.
With the rise of staycations being the go-to for most of us this year and hotel prices soaring up in price, camping is an easy, affordable way to escape without blowing the bank. The real trick is finding that epic spot to pitch up and unwind.
What pitch to ask for at a campsite?
Most campsites will accommodate roof tents, even if it’s not explicitly mentioned. We’ve found it’s always best to call ahead and check, so you know exactly what to book. With the growing popularity of roof tents, it’s rare to visit a campsite these days without spotting one!
We have stayed at some amazing campsites across the UK, but here are some of our favourites!!
